Last week, our very own Josh Earnhart had a chance to volunteer at Apple Seeds, Inc. in Fayetteville, Arkansas with fellow Leadership Fayetteville classmates. They bagged fresh arugula and hope the families that receive it LOVE eating it. Arugula, in our opinion, is the Cadillac of leafy greens! 
In 2007 a small and passionate group of leaders from Ozark Natural Foods Co-Op saw a need to reconnect students with where their food comes from. They had the conviction and vision to launch Apple Seeds as a 501c(3). Starting small and growing thoughtfully, they’re now more capable of serving the growing needs of NWA’s students than ever before. Their mission is to inspire healthy living through garden-based education.
